I am thrilled to promote the BHA across a variety of media, including our ever-important social media platforms. As Director of Communications, I aim to draw the largest audience possible to our outstanding archive.  So, if you wouldn’t mind…go check it out!

Favourite historical building:

Roxy Theatre for what it must have been, MacLaren Art Centre for what remains today.

If I could own a home on one historical street it would be:

On Owen Street, between Sophia and McDonald Streets.

I got involved with the BHA because:

After purchasing a home in Barrie in a neighbourhood with great historical character, I began to look at the city in a different light. I wanted to learn more about Barrie’s progression into the great place it is today while taking on a fulfilling volunteer role — the BHA has offered me that exciting opportunity. 

What I do for a living:

Corporate communications for a large, nearby police service.
